Supplier notification is required in cases of nonconforming product, including arrangements for American Manufacturing approval of supplier nonconforming material.

Supplier notification is required for changes in product and/or process definition including, where required, per American Manufacturing approval.

The supplier will flow down to subtier suppliers the applicable requirements in the purchasing documents, including key characteristics.

Certification(s) of Compliance to all applicable specifications if requested by American Manufacturing.

• Raw Material – require material certs with heat lot, chemical and physical properties
• Outside Processing – require certifications such as C of C, C of A, Test Reports, etc. with reference to specification and revision, part # and WO reference
• Calibration Suppliers – Calibration Certificates must identify standards used and must be traceable to NIST (National Institute of Standards Technology). ISO 17025 Certified preferred.

Right of Entry shall be granted to American Manufacturing, its customers, and regulatory authorities, to all facilities involved with the order and to all applicable records, for the purpose of monitoring product quality.

Records resulting from the processing of this order shall be retained for a minimum of 7 years after completion of American Manufacturing’s customer’s contract, or as otherwise required by American Manufacturing. If disposing of records after the minimum retention period, supplier must notify American Manufacturing prior to disposal. Disposal must be done by means of deletion from all servers/databases (for electronic records) or shred (for physical records).

Supplier responsible for Lost or Damaged Product.

Supplier performance; American Manufacturing will evaluate and record the supplier(s) ability to meet contractual requirements, including product characteristics, specifications, on-time delivery, completion of documentation, and responsiveness to corrective actions. American Manufacturing reserves the right, at our discretion, to approve and/or disapprove a supplier for lack of performance.

Supplier Quality System; a Quality System which assures compliance with supplied documentation, including the purchase order, drawings and specifications. A system that complies with ISO 9001, AS9100, and/or Nadcap preferred. American Manufacturing will validate the supplier Quality System status by confirming the sustained certification approval, quality surveys, and/or on-site surveillance audits.

Prevent the use of counterfeit parts (see 8.1.4 of the AS9100D / ISO 9001:2015 Standard).

Ensure that persons / employees are aware of:

• their contribution to product or service conformity
• their contribution to product safety, and
• the importance of ethical behavior

Suppliers will maintain an approved calibration system (where applicable) which ensures valid measurements within the appropriate accuracy and is traceable to the NIST.

For Calibration Suppliers; ISO 17025 Certified preferred. Calibration Certificates must identify standards used and must be traceable to NIST (National Institute of Standards Technology).

Conflict Minerals – Supplier must provide material that is “DRC conflict free” as defined by applicable SEC rules. Any required conflict mineral content must be from recycled or scrap sources or originate from outside of the DRC Covered Countries. Material that contains conflict minerals that originated in a DRC Covered Country will be deemed non-conforming and unacceptable.

If applicable (stated on PO), any technical data, i.e. specifications, drawings, models, etc. provided by American Manufacturing is considered export controlled by the U.S. Department of State, under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITARs). Disclosure (including oral or visual disclosure) or transfer of this information to foreign persons is prohibited without U.S. Government authorization.

If the order is a DPAS (15 CFR 700) rated order the following applies:

• If given a rated order, supplier must in turn place rated orders with your suppliers for the items needed to fill the rated orders.
• This continues from contractor to subcontractor to supplier throughout the entire supply chain.
• Must use the priority rating indicated on the customer’s rated order, except as otherwise provided in the DPAS regulation or as directed by the DOC.

All product to be packaged as received for transport, unless otherwise specified.

All requirements shall be specified on the purchase order.

The customer shall flow down all the applicable requirements in the purchasing documents, including key Characteristics and workmanship standards.

American Manufacturing may charge additional fees for the provision of special requirements (e.g. APQP, PPAP, customer warranted FAIR’s, etc.) which are outside of the standard operational procedures of the organization.

Terms of Payment. UNLESS CREDIT HAS BEEN EXTENDED BY AMERICAN, all payments are due by the terms agreed upon. All prices are payable in U.S. dollars. Customer is solely liable for any local, state, national, or international taxes, freight, shipping, handling, customs, duties, tariffs, levies, dues, or other similar charges, whether or not included in the initial invoice. In the event any AMERICAN invoice to the Customer is not paid in full when due, Customer also agrees to pay interest from the due date at the lesser of 8% or the highest legal rate allowed by law, together with AMERICAN’s attorney fees or other costs incurred in collecting such amounts, whether or not suit is commenced.

All products will be packaged and shipped per American’s standard procedure unless given special shipping requests at Customer’s sole expense.

Product can be eligible for return for up to 45 days after the customer receives the product.
